Project Spotlight: Palm Beach Luxury Home Renovation
This month, we shine a spotlight on a stunning residential renovation in Palm Beach. Our team reimagined the property with a full foundation redesign to support a 3-foot horizontal shift and a 1’-6” elevation increase, ensuring long-term structural integrity and coastal resilience. From new rear loggia structures and reconfigured interior load paths to front entry columns and garage CMU wall upgrades, every detail was engineered to meet the 2023 Florida Building Code. The result is a seamless blend of architectural elegance and structural innovation.
Key Legislative Updates for 2025
Florida’s building safety regulations continue to evolve, and two major updates affect condominium and cooperative associations:
- Milestone Inspections: Now specifically required for buildings with three or more habitable stories, these inspections carry strict reporting requirements and a 365-day repair mandate for Phase Two findings.
- Structural Integrity Reserve Studies (SIRS): Deadlines are extended to December 31, 2025, and new transparency rules require detailed funding plans and disclosure of any inspection-to-repair business ties.
These updates reinforce the state’s commitment to proactive safety, structural resilience, and community accountability.
