Project Overview
Engineering Solutions provided a range of structural design services for the existing five-story Class A office building at 1674 Meridian Ave, near Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida. The scope included a cantilevered canopy system, retrofits to existing structural steel for new programming, and assistance with curtain wall tie-ins. ES also analyzed five existing roof bar joists requiring removal and reinforcement of web elements to accommodate mechanical ductwork, with permit-ready construction documents addressing gravity and lateral loads under the Florida Building Code, 7th Edition (2020).
