Project Overview
Engineering Solutions was engaged to provide construction documents for a proposed 2-story Spanish Colonial-style home on Chilean Ave in Palm Beach, FL. Scope consisted of an in-depth analysis and preparation of construction documents for a new high-end residence with a pool. The anticipated structural system includes shallow foundations, exterior CMU bearing walls, second-floor prefabricated wood trusses, and prefabricated roof trusses. Deliverables included full construction documents inclusive of general notes, floor plans, structural reinforcement details, and wind pressure diagrams.

Designing a high-end 2-story Spanish Colonial residence with a pool on a Palm Beach site requiring code-compliant lateral resistance for coastal wind exposure while accommodating CMU bearing walls and prefabricated wood truss framing.
