Project Overview
Engineering Solutions is providing structural engineering services for Wynwood Lofts in Miami's Wynwood Art District, focused on the building's existing rooftop pool. The scope includes a structural assessment of the pool slab and supporting framing, a formal conditions assessment report documenting observed distress, and detailed construction documents for water intrusion remediation and concrete repair. The work restores the durability of an elevated pool structure at the heart of one of Miami's most dynamic neighborhoods while preserving its spectacular rooftop views.
The Challenge
Diagnosing water intrusion and concrete deterioration at an elevated rooftop pool over occupied space, where the source of leakage and the extent of slab distress are concealed by finishes and waterproofing.
